Harwich and District Community Crime Prevention Panel

Unfortunately due to the still ever changing, rapidly escalating ongoing situation with the Covid-19/Corona Virus, the Panel meeting due to be held on Thursday 28th May has been cancelled.

We are continuing to follow the advice of the Government during this continuing pandemic situation we find ourselves in, social distancing is one example, to combat the virus.  It is imperative that all the community strictly adhere to all the precautions to help ameliorate the spread of this virus.

This is the right course of action for the Harwich District and Community Crime Prevention Panel and apologies in advance for any inconvenience to anyone.  Understandably the health and welfare of our Panel members and members of our partner organisations that attend our meetings is of paramount importance to us.

We will endeavour to re-arrange our Guest Speakers Presentations.  We will keep you updated of the date of our next Panel meeting.

In the meantime whilst we have witnessed spontaneous acts of kindnesses within our Communities, there are also criminal activities still occurring. Please stay safe and continue to be vigilant and report any concerns to Essex Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.  Please continue to look out for and after those within your Communities.
